TOUR WAQRAPUKARA FULL DAY

Cusco is a city with many mysteries to discover, Waqrapukara (from Quechua waqra ‘horn’, pukara ‘fortress’ located in the province of, Acomayo, Waqrapukara enigmatic monument of classic Inca architecture that is located at 4,300 meters above sea level, in the abyss of the Apurímac river canyon, south of the city of Cusco. TRIP ITINERARY

DAY 1Cusco – Waqrapukara

  • From 4:00 a.m. at 4:30 approx. We will pick you up at your hotel in our tourist transport.
  • It will leave at 5:00 am approx. from the city of Cusco towards the Waqrapukara route.
  • After 1 hour and 30 minutes we will arrive at the restaurant where we will taste a delicious breakfast made with local products.
  • We will arrive at the Pomacanchi lagoon (optional).
  • We will start the walk from the community of Santa Lucia.
  • We will walk for approximately 2 hours until we reach Waqrapukara.
  • The guide will give us all the necessary information about this wonderful place.
  • They will have free time to take photos and enjoy the place.
  • Lunch will be enjoyed (boxlunch).
  • We will walk back to the starting point of the walk and we will take the tourist transport.
  • We will return to the city of Cusco at 7:00 p.m. approximately.
